ClearBase Executive Network

Put Your Experience to Work On Your Terms

The ClearBase Executive Network (CEN) brings together experienced executives and senior operators who want to apply their transformational leadership to fractional, interim, and advisory engagements.

CEN is a curated network, not a job board. ClearBase evaluates each prospective member and matches approved leaders to opportunities where their experience, availability, and working style fit the client’s needs.

What Is the ClearBase Executive Network?

A curated network for experienced leaders who want to keep contributing—without committing to another full-time executive role.

CEN is ClearBase’s curated network of experienced executives and senior operators who are open to serving clients through transformational fractional, interim, and advisory engagements.

ClearBase works with each client to define the leadership need, desired outcomes, scope, and capacity. We then consider approved CEN members whose functional expertise, industry experience, availability, geography, and working style align with the engagement.

CEN is designed for leaders who want to stay professionally engaged, choose how much capacity to make available, and contribute where their experience can create meaningful results.

Prospective members complete a profile review and formal interview. Approved members decide whether each opportunity fits their interests and availability, and membership does not guarantee assignments.

Benefits of CEN Membership

CEN gives experienced leaders another way to remain active, earn, and make an impact—while retaining control over the opportunities they pursue.

Work on Your Terms

Choose the amount of capacity you want to make available and evaluate each opportunity against your schedule, interests, and other commitments. CEN members are not expected to accept every engagement.

Supplemental Income Potential

Turn your experience into paid fractional, interim, or advisory work that can complement consulting, board service, retirement, or other professional priorities.

Share What You’ve Learned

Put years of hard-earned judgment, pattern recognition, and leadership experience to work helping organizations navigate meaningful challenges and change.

Less Time Selling and Administering

ClearBase can originate and qualify opportunities, shape the engagement, manage the client relationship, and establish the commercial structure—so members can focus more of their time on the work.

A Curated Peer Network

Build relationships with other experienced executives and specialists, and collaborate when an engagement benefits from a broader combination of leadership capabilities.

CEN Member Badge

Approved members receive a badge they may use on personal websites, professional profiles, and email signatures to show their affiliation with the curated CEN community. The badge represents membership, not a professional certification.

How CEN Works

Joining CEN begins with a straightforward four-step process designed to help you determine whether the network is the right fit.

Step 1

Share Your Profile

Tell us about your leadership background, capabilities, industry knowledge, availability, and engagement preferences.

Step 2

Initial Review

ClearBase reviews your experience and preferences against the leadership needs we expect to support.

Step 3

Formal Interview

If there appears to be a fit, ClearBase schedules a formal interview focused on operating experience, judgment, client presence, and fractional readiness.

Step 4

Network Decision

Approved members become eligible for consideration when a relevant client opportunity emerges. Membership does not guarantee an assignment.

Submitting a profile starts a review process. It does not automatically place someone in the network.

Who We’re Seeking

CEN is intended for experienced executives and senior operators with evidence of meaningful accountability—not simply exposure to a function.

Relevant backgrounds may include CEO or president, CFO, COO, CIO or CTO, CRO or sales leadership, CMO, CHRO or people leadership, general management, transformation leadership, and other specialized operating roles.

Strong candidates typically bring

  • Leadership accountability for material business outcomes
  • Deep functional capability and credible industry knowledge
  • Clear communication with owners, executives, boards, and operating teams
  • Sound judgment in ambiguous or changing environments
  • The ability to enter quickly, establish priorities, and create leverage
  • Realistic availability and clear engagement preferences

Candidate FAQ

Does joining CEN guarantee work?

No. Approval makes a member eligible for consideration when an appropriate opportunity arises. ClearBase does not guarantee assignments, hours, or income.

Does submitting a profile mean I have joined the network?

No. The profile expresses interest only. ClearBase reviews the submission and, if appropriate, schedules a formal interview before making a network decision.

Is there a cost to join CEN?

No. There is currently no cost to join the network.

Would I be a ClearBase employee?

Participation in CEN does not itself create an employment relationship.

Are CEN members required to complete a background check?

Not simply to join CEN. Before a member begins a client engagement, ClearBase generally requires a background check appropriate to the role. CEN leaders may receive access to confidential strategy, financial information, employees, systems, or customers. Any required screening will be explained in advance, completed with the member’s authorization, and subject to applicable law and client requirements.

How much availability do I need?

There is no single required capacity. We want to understand the amount of professional capacity you generally want to make available, from occasional advisory work through ongoing fractional or interim assignments.

Can I decline an opportunity?

Yes. CEN members can evaluate opportunities individually. Scope, expectations, availability, and commercial terms are established before an engagement begins.

Is a resume required?

No. A resume is optional. A complete LinkedIn profile and a clear summary of your leadership background may be sufficient for the initial review.

Interested in the ClearBase Executive Network?

Share your background and preferences. If there appears to be a fit, the next step is a formal interview with ClearBase.

Submitting a profile does not constitute acceptance into CEN, an offer of work, or a guarantee of an assignment.
